A Band for Everyone
The Upper Norwood Elastic Band (UNEB) has one simple aim: to provide a fun and supportive environment for ANYONE to make music with other people; any age, any instrument, any standard.

UNEB is for you if:
-
You’re starting your musical journey, or returning to it, and need somewhere to develop the basic skills of playing with others.
-
Your child is learning an instrument and you want to find a way to support them and enjoy music together.
-
You're an experienced player looking for a fun and friendly environment to make music to a high standard.
Music tailored to you
UNEB is led by professional conductor and community music specialist Christopher Braime and supported by professional musicians who help people on their journey. In UNEB the music is personalised and tailored to your specific needs so that it is challenging without being demoralising. For this reason, pre registration is essential, as we need to create a tailor-made instrumental part for you.

The musical standard is high, with everyone able to play to the best of their abilities within the overall sound
A welcoming, family-friendly environment
Families are welcome and encouraged - and remember, you can bring along any instrument - but please note that all children must be accompanied by their parent/carer/guardian.

We rehearse on Saturdays 2.00 - 4.00pm at All Saints' Primary School, Upper Norwood, London, SE19 3LG.
